Job description

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.

American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Health Services Instructor for the 2026-2027 academic school year at our Applied Technologies campus. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate health services programs that address the needs of the target population, focusing on health education, prevention, and wellness.
  • Work with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and promote health initiatives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of health services programs, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Provide guidance and support to program participants, helping them access resources and navigate health services.
  • Maintain accurate records related to program activities, participant outcomes, and compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing reports for administration.
  • Develop and deliver educational materials and training sessions to raise awareness about health issues and promote healthy behaviors.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant health regulations, policies, and accreditation standards in all program activities.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and participant feedback, using data to make informed decisions for program improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in public health, health administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in health program coordination or management, particularly in an educational or community health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Additional certifications in areas such as health education, public health, or program management.
