Job description

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Type: Full-Time (On-site)

Department: Project Management

Recognized by the Las Vegas Review-Journal as one of Nevada’s Top Workplaces

Steelhead is looking for a detail-driven Project Manager to lead the execution of custom trade show exhibit projects from kickoff through show site installation. This role owns project schedules, coordination, and execution across internal teams to ensure timelines, budgets, logistics, and quality standards are met.

This role is a strong fit for someone who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, stays organized under pressure, and knows how to keep complex projects moving without losing details.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the execution of assigned custom exhibit projects
  • Build and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
  • Coordinate with design, detailing, production, graphics, warehouse, logistics, and installation teams
  • Partner with procurement and logistics to align materials, services, and shipping
  • Track project costs and maintain budget control
  • Identify and resolve issues throughout production and installation
  • Maintain Steelhead quality standards across all phases of the project
  • Communicate project status internally to support alignment and execution
  • Support on-site installations as required
  • Participate in post-project reviews to improve future execution
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in trade shows, events, or production environments
  • Experience managing multiple projects with overlapping timelines
  • Familiarity with exhibit or event production workflows
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, Trello, or similar
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • PMP certification is a plus, not required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Indoor and outdoor work environments
  • Some travel to Las Vegas-based exhibit venues
  • Exposure to machinery, moving vehicles, ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, noise, dust, humidity, and fumes
  • Walking, standing, climbing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching
What Sets Us Apart
  • Top Workplace Recognition: We’re not just saying we’re a great place to work – it’s been officially recognized
  • We Rent, You Create: Our clients don’t buy exhibits. They rent. That means less rinse and repeat, and more room for bold, fresh ideas
  • Design-Obsessed Culture: No creative silos. No ego wars. Just a team of high-performers who geek out on pushing boundaries
  • Visible, Valued, and Supported: You won’t get lost in the machine. You’ll be seen, supported, and celebrated
  • Creative Variety: Work with a range of world-class brands across multiple industries and events
How We Support You
  • Healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision, voluntary plans, EAP)
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO), PTO for sick leave, and paid company holidays
  • Professional development budget for training and continued education

We Celebrate You, Just as You Are. Steelhead is committed to building a workplace where diverse perspectives fuel creativity and innovation. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and lived experiences.
