Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead one of the most high-profile commercial construction projects in the Raleigh market — an iconic $50M ground-up development that will become a landmark project in the region.


This is an opportunity to take ownership of a signature build with a well-established mechanical contractor known for delivering complex, large-scale projects across the Southeast.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead all phases of mechanical construction operations from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships
  • Oversee HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems installation
  • Coordinate with ownership, general contractors, field leadership, and design teams
  • Drive project profitability while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers and junior operations staff
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, forecasting, and project reporting


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Mechanical Project Management experience
  • Experience managing large commercial or industrial mechanical projects
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules and budgets
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project preferred
