Position Summary
The Commercial Sales & Project Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for commercial customers throughout the entire project lifecycle. This position is responsible for developing customer relationships, preparing quotations, coordinating production schedules, managing project timelines, and ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial contractors, builders, designers, architects, and property managers
  • Prepare accurate quotations, bids, and project proposals
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Coordinate templating, fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules
  • Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Communicate project updates with customers, installers, production, and management
  • Monitor project budgets, change orders, and job profitability
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate project documentation within company systems
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships and generate additional business
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial project coordination, construction management, estimating, or outside sales
  • Experience within countertops, cabinetry, flooring, millwork, construction materials, or related building products is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes and project scheduling
  • Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or project management software is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
