JF Professional Services (JFPS) is seeking a highly skilled Director of Project Management to lead our project management team and oversee the successful completion of all projects. The Director of Project Management will be responsible for developing project management policies and procedures, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. The focus of JFPS are multi-site rollouts across North America.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and mentor the project management team to ensure successful completion of all projects.
  • Develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee project planning and scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget through the use of Smartsheet.
  • Report on project budgets profitability and WIP.
  • Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans to minimize potential issues.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including executive management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in sales-related activities, such as product demos.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years leading and managing a teamย 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with 'Smartsheet at an Enterprise level (Administrator, requisitioning toolkits and building custom dashboards) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects preferred
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including data trends and business intelligence.
  • Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the companyย
