Job description

We are presently seeking an individual with e ffective leadership and management of resources to complete the installation of brand-new homes to meet RHP standards within budget and schedule. This position is based out of Michigan and includes Ohio.

As a New Home Lead Project Manager, you will:
  • Provide daily training, coaching, and oversight of NHPMs in assigned region to ensure home installations are completed timely and within budget.
  • Track and report on the status of all homes assigned in the region for completion timelines and quality of work.
  • Manage the completion of home site surveys for home orders in assigned region and review of compliance with priority site policies.
  • Knowledge of requirements for utilities and permitting at local level (city and county) for communities in assigned region.
  • Review site walk-throughs prepared by New Home Project Managers to determine required scope of work for brand-new homes
  • Exemplify a full understanding of all company and new homes division policy and procedures at all times. Enforce policy adherence by NHPMs in assigned region.
  • Collaborate and partner with Community Operations in assigned region to ensure all aspects of the new home installation process are clearly communicated and issues are addressed timely.
  • Manage and track new home deliveries in assigned region.
  • Oversee new home installations for communities in assigned region where a NHPM is not assigned.
  • Assist Director of New Homes with training and other division initiatives.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by Director of New Homes.
  • Travel within assigned region to provide training and coverage to assigned NHPMs.
  • A minimum of 3 years project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Working knowledge of physical facilities, including construction renovation.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to develop and negotiate proposals and contracts with vendors and other project partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational, time management, problem solving, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
  • Valid operator’s license, maintenance of a good driving record at all times, and insurability under the Company’s policy at all times and reliable transportation.
