Job description

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with GMI Product Leads to research, develop, and maintain medical affairs materials (standard response documents, FAQs, AMCP dossiers, slide decks, leave-behinds).
  • Develop and update scientifically balanced responses to unsolicited requests for on- and off-label indications; maintain and distribute a standard response database via internal review/approval.
  • Assist with AMCP-format product dossiers.
  • Serve as subject matter expert; stay current on emerging literature/clinical trials, translate data, and develop educational materials for internal and external HCP audiences.
  • Use Veeva MedInquiry to manage medical information requests and escalations for the Contact Center Team.
  • Support scientific congress booth strategies (study design handouts, adverse event management materials, pipeline overview slides); provide booth staffing; collect/report data and competitive intelligence.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints to Global Patient Safety/Pharmacovigilance per SOPs and compliance requirements.
  • Support maintenance of Publications Library and Clinical Trials website sections.
  • Evaluate templates for Medical Information document development.
  • Contribute to medical affairs workstreams, launch meetings, insights forums, and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • PharmD with active pharmacy license.
  • 2+ years pharmaceutical industry medical information or hospital experience.
  • Experience abstracting databases (Embase, PubMed) for literature search and full-text retrieval.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to timelines/budgets.
  • Awareness of Medical Information/Medical Affairs regulations/guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and cross-functional collaborator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years medical writing.
  • 1+ years Medical Information Fellowship.
  • Experience developing field medical slides for external use.
  • Membership in accredited medical writing associations (e.g., AMWA).
  • Experience with IRMS or Veeva MI (end user/admin) or strong aptitude to learn systems.
  • Clinical experience in pulmonary hypertension.
