The Electrical Project Engineer will lead capital projects that drive business growth and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role provides electrical expertise to Essity’s high-speed manufacturing operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance.We’re looking for people who embody our values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If this is you, we’d love to talk.What You Will DoLead and manage capital projects from concept through commissioning.Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.Oversee installation, startup, and validation of new equipment.Own and maintain the site electrical distribution systems.Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for high-speed converting lines and packaging equipment.Program PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion control systems.Optimize electrical controls systems for throughput and waste reduction.Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA and other safety standards.Serve as a technical resource for operators and technicians.Develop a control system obsolescence strategy and manage its execution.Who You AreBS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field3+ years of project engineering experience in manufacturingExperienced in CAD (AutoCAD or ePlan).Strong troubleshooting skills.PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).VFDs, servo systems, and motion control.Strong project management and organizational skills.Communicates well, both verbally and in written form.Knowledge of machine vision systems and barcode readers.Exposure to OPC, MES and DDE would be a plus.Strong knowledge of control systems and power distribution.What We Can Offer YouAt Essity, we believe every career is as unique as the individual and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.Compensation and Benefits:Expected Compensation:Competitive annual salary + annual incentive bonus + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.Along with competitive pay you will be eligible for the following benefits:United Healthcare PPO / EyeMed Vision Insurance / Delta Dental InsuranceWellness program provided through RallyHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)401(k) with employer match and annual employer base contributionCompany paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurancePTO offering with Paid HolidaysScholarship program for children of Essity employees.Additional InformationThe Company is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations to qualified candidates and employees pursuant to applicable law.
