As a General Contractor licensed throughout the Southeast, we specialize in the construction, renovation, and restoration of multi-family properties. What you'll be doing:

  • Gain thorough understanding of business through interaction with senior level Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Review architectural drawings and specifications for assigned projects, develop an initial scope document, and establish the project in multiple bid solicitation software platforms.
  • Organize and review subcontractor/vendor bids and perform bid leveling on received bids.
  • Assist the Project Manager in performing buyout of the job and coordinating subcontract and vendor PO creation with the Project Administration team.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and collaborate with the Project Manager throughout the entire project to drive it to completion and exceed customer expectations.
  • Request and compile material and labor pricing to finalize change order requests.
  • Create and maintain project logs and status reports as required by the Owner.
  • Assist Project Manager and Project Administration teams in collecting the information necessary to submit monthly project pay application packages.
  • Schedule and conduct review meetings with senior-level Project Managers to assess project status and provide feedback.
  • Create and disperse O&M manuals and close out documents.

What you need to succeed:

  • Associate or 4-year college degree, preferably with a major in Building Construction or related field.
  • Must be willing to travel by car or plane
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Prior work experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred, as well as holding a working knowledge of the estimating and management of construction jobs.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products (includes Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Procore is preferred.
  • Experience with or knowledge of On-Center OST or other digital take-off or estimating software application(s) is preferred.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Bluebeam or On-Center OST (or other digital take-off or estimating software applications) is preferred.
