The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join our New Albany, Ohio team. This role is perfect for a motivated professional ready to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while growing their construction career.
 
What You'll Do
  • Support Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in developing and implementing project plans and schedules; submit RFIs, manage documentation, and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide Engineering Support: Perform technical calculations and evaluations, review engineering drawings and specifications, and provide guidance to field personnel on construction methods and procedures
  • Drive Quality Assurance: Monitor labor and materials against project specifications, conduct inspections and audits, and document and report quality issues with recommended corrective actions
  • Assist with Cost Control: Track project expenses including labor, materials, and equipment; identify cost-saving opportunities and help implement measures to keep projects on budget
  • Manage Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues through negotiation and problem-solving
  • Build Your Client Network: Cultivate and maintain client relationships through industry events, conferences, local associations, and Project Manager mentorship
