JOB TITLE: Project Engineer
Location: Fremont, Ohio 
Salary: 65k/annum to 125k/annum
Job Type: Full Time

We're looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team in Fremont, OH. In this role, you'll support the successful execution of commercial building projects by partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the construction industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination from start to finish.

  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, contracts, and meeting notes.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to support procurement, deliveries, and project schedules.

  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, bid packages, change orders, and estimating activities.

  • Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and trade partners to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial or vertical construction preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; scheduling software experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
