Job description

We are a large mechanical contractor that specializes in Plumbing/HVAC projects in CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage one to multiple mechanical projects (either Plumbing, HVAC or both)
  • Help with initial conceptual Design
  • Build Estimates and get approximate costs from suppliers and calculate approximate labor costs as well
  • Participate in Preconstruction and BIM-coordination meetings
  • Manage Subs, and coordinate project schedules, and build/get approval on change orders when project is complete

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years working as a Project Engineer/Project Manager for Mechanical contractor

Preferred:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
  • PE License (Mechanical)
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, Trane, Trace, HAP, Carrier, Autodesk Fabrication Suite, TSI, Quickpen, MS Project, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, SysQue among others
  • Work on Plan/Spec and/or Design Build projects ranging in size from 200k to 40 million
