Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description:
Belcan is seeking highly motivated Project Engineers for positions in Windsor, CT. In this role, you will be processing engineering changes, planning and replanning milestones, maintaining schedules, hosting meetings with our customer, resolving scheduling and data issues, and completing action items.
Job Duties can include:
* Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to understand the required time frame for the changes and develop project milestones.
* Evaluate the status of the ECs and recommend actions plans like schedule revisions or milestone replans.
* Attend customer meetings and lead the project portion of the meeting.
* Resolve issues related to overdue corrective action milestones.
* Act as manufacturing liaison for engineering team.
* Participate in manufacturing or engineering reviews and complete assigned action items.
* Attend design reviews and drive actions forward for manufacturing non-conformance dispositions.
* Host meetings to drive communication/approvals for engineering changes
Core Qualifications:
* BS Degree in an engineering, STEM, or relevant discipline or equivalent manufacturing & project engineering experience
* 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, project engineering, industrial engineering or relevant field. Internship experience will be considered.
* Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Outgoing personality with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
* Ability to absorb information quickly, ask insightful questions, and deliver positive outcomes
* Proficiency in Excel
* US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Blueprint reading, data analytics, and comfortability/familiarity with machine shop environments
* Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
* Previous exposure to NX and TEAMCENTER
