Position Summary:
Join E-J's growing Engineering team and build a career with one of the nation's fastest growing contractors. E-J is seeking an individual with engineering experience in Electrical Construction. You will be responsible to use AutoDesk Revit to design and model Electrical equipment, conduits, and supports systems for Prefabrication and Installation. You will review schematics, plans, and models for Electric Code compliance. You will be trained on best practices in the Electrical Industry and advocate for E-J in meetings with Clients, Architects and Engineers, and other Trades.
What You'll Do:
  • Take ownership of modeling and managing small projects, or areas and scopes of larger projects
  • Schedule and oversee supporting project staff to meet project deliverables
  • Apply the National Electric Code, local building codes, and best practices to your designs
  • Model, and design using Autodesk Revit to a high level of proficiency, and learn other software
  • Assist senior Engineers with Contract review, 3D modeling, and production of Prefab/Install drawings
  • Attend meetings and advocate for the best electrical practices and designs
  • Participate in reporting, accountability, and documentation practices to improve Engineering performance and maximize project profitability
