The Job:

As a Project Engineer, you'll be part of our Industrial team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:

  • Assist commercial team in identifying applications and provide technical support on sales calls.
  • Work with customers to develop products and finalize specifications for their applications.
  • Coordinate all project related activities with internal teams after award of business including requirements management, design, project timing, customer communication, fabrication and component procurement.
  • Generation and approval of designs in both Pro-Engineer (Creo) and AutoCAD
  • Mechanical and structural calculations, specification of materials, heat treatment, machining and fabrication methods.
  • Specifications for machine controls (both pneumatic and electrical).Outsourcing of electrical panel work as required.
  • Participate in technical presentations to educate and train customers.
  • Develop test protocols and support product testing as required.
  • Provide technical support after award of business including troubleshooting and change management.
  • Responsible for all product realization deliverables per the Quality Management System (feasibility, design studies, APQP deliverables as required)
  • Support engineering department on specific projects to support the overall technical growth of the company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in project engineering with direct customer interaction.
  • 5+ years experience with electrical systems and machine controls

  • Strong Drafting and 3D Pro-Engineer (Creo)
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design principles

The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $144,900.00
