Description
The Project Engineer is responsible to help facilitate project delivery and administrative requirements related to planning, management and communication through effective day-to-day administration and coordination of projects. Works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project team members, including clients, in support of the success of a project.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks that have potential to generate future sales opportunities.
  • Create and maintain the internal and external project logs as necessary.
  • Maintain internal and external reports as necessary
  • Assist the Project Manager(s) with updating project tasks in software systems in conjunction with processing Requests for Information, Submittals, Drawing Logs, and other management tools.
  • Ensure the proper bid documents are sent to bidders for various bid packages as they come online. Build and maintain the bidders list.
  • Maintain current construction documents.
  • Receive and act accordingly on RFI's from contractors
  • Review and process submittals; maintain submittal log.
  • Support the management of the day-to-day project including but not limited to; responding to pay requests, change orders, RFI's, submittals, contracts, purchase orders and closeout.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering
  • 0-2 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site experience in the management of new construction and the renovation of existing assets
  • Basic MEP knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • LEED AP Preferred
