What you will be doing

  • Provide high-level coordination for the fulfillment of customer orders for a facilities-based, telecommunications service provider. The Project Coordinator is the central coordination point for the customer, working with other departments who perform construction, configuration, installation, testing, and customer cutover.
  • Consulting with customers to confirm the services ordered and expected outcome and timing. Based on customer input and consultation with engineering departments, will create and implement a plan and schedule for deployment, acts as the single point of contact and is accountable for the completed installation of all services.
  • Be able to juggle multiple client projects with constantly changing priorities. Communicate effectively with multiple departments during the order process and escalate orders that appear to be in jeopardy of missing their deliverable date.
  • Reviewing incoming orders and perform necessary data entry and communications to kick project off.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver fiber services and fulfillment technicians.
  • Executing the installation with assistance from field services and fulfillment technician
  • Documentation of the completed installation and closing order with billing department.
  • Process all post-installation work including documentation for Day-2 operations
  • Guide and influence team members and business colleagues

What you will need

  • Prior experience with a telecommunications carrier is a plus
  • Strong work ethic
  • Communicate effectively and influence internal resources and customers at all experience levels.
  • Ability to analyze and define problems, prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines, and remain flexible.
  • Ability to think through project dependencies and complexities to help find creative ways to solve potential problems.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skill.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D; BS/BA preferred
