Ready to take engineering projects from concept to installation and see your designs make a real impact? TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer for a global material-handling solutions provider in Hiram, GA.


In this role, youll manage engineering projects across manufacturing, automation, and material-handling environments, turning ideas into practical solutions that keep operations moving.


What Youll Be Doing
Create and review layouts, detail drawings, structural drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
Develop equipment layouts, material flow solutions, and engineered designs to meet project requirements.
Manage engineering schedules, deliverables, and project milestones to ensure projects are completed on time.
Perform engineering calculations and transform conceptual designs into final installation drawings.
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support manufacturing, installation, and field teams with technical guidance, troubleshooting, and design modifications.
Release designs through SAP/ERP systems and generate equipment lists and purchase orders.
Conduct design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support continuous improvement and corrective action efforts.


What We Are Looking For
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of engineering experience.
Experience in manufacturing, automation machinery, material handling, or industrial equipment.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SAP/ERP, and Microsoft Office.
Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience
Experience with conveyor, sortation, warehouse automation, or material handling systems.
SAP experience.
Hands-on manufacturing, installation, and field support experience.
