Job description

Position Summary: Work on advanced electronics recovery, test system development, and manufacturing scale-up. This role supports new SMT line deployment and next-generation electronics lifecycle solutions, including component-level recovery and reuse. Youโ€™ll operate with high autonomy and directly impact how products are evaluated, built, and scaled.

Engineering Environment: You will work in a small, high-talent-density engineering team solving complex problems across electronics, manufacturing, and AI. This role is best suited for engineers who want to be challenged and grow alongside other highly capable peers.

What you'll do:

  • Own technical evaluation and engineering strategy for a wide range of electronic products
  • Design and implement test systems for validation and remanufacturing
  • Develop processes to take products from concept through production
  • Lead root cause analysis and drive product/process improvement
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to execute projects
  • Support new SMT line development and manufacturing integration

What we're looking for:

  • Strong hands-on electronics experience (PCBAs, sensors, motors, ECUs, etc.)
  • Ability to independently solve complex technical problems
  • Experience in manufacturing or product engineering environments
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, Modbus)
  • Experience designing, building, or troubleshooting electronic systems
  • 5+ years experience or equivalent practical expertise
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Additional skills preferred:
  • Experience with test system development
  • Exposure to SMT processes
  • Programming experience
  • Knowledge of remanufacturing or repair processes

Why this role is for you:

  • High autonomy with real ownership of engineering decisions
  • Opportunity to build systems, not just maintain them
  • Direct impact on new product introduction and manufacturing capability
  • Work alongside advanced AI-driven initiatives in electronics recovery
