Trade31 is looking for a Project Engineer who enjoys staying organized, working with a team, and being involved in projects from start to finish. In this role, youโ€™ll support both the planning and execution sides of our work, gaining exposure to estimating, project coordination, and field operations. Youโ€™ll work closely with Project Managers, superintendents, and trade partners to keep projects moving and help deliver quality work the right way.

ย JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support projects from early planning through closeout, assisting with estimating, coordination, and execution
  • Review plans and specifications to help develop budgets, scopes, and takeoffs
  • Assist with subcontractor bidding, scope coordination, and buyout processes
  • Track and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Help maintain project schedules and support budget tracking
  • Coordinate with industry professionals to keep work moving
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates across the team
  • Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and long-lead items
  • Support jobsite efforts, including site walks, issue resolution, and quality checks
  • Assist with project closeout and final documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in construction project management or related role preferred, including co-op/internship experience
  • Experience working with project management software such as MS Project or Procore preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in construction
