The Construction Project Engineer I is an entry level Construction Management position to gain insightful knowledge of and experience in the construction process.The Project Engineer I will be responsible for document controls and will perform field inspections for various construction activities at the project site to verify that construction work is in compliance with the plans and specifications. Under general supervision, they will manage specific subcontract agreements, participate in both OAC and Subcontractor meetings. Various duties may be assigned to the Project Engineer I that pertain to administrative tasks to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the Company's construction processes. The following types of responsibilities will be increasingly assigned based on performance, level of competence and confidence in the Austin Processes with the goal of successful projects and promotion to Project Engineer II. The Project Engineer position is the first step in the career of Construction Management and will train for advancement into various Construction Management positions or for work in other departments within the company.
