What you'll do:
Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Lumber Department.

ย ย ย ย To merchandise and receive merchandise as directed by the manager or designate as per Discovery Co-op Policies and Procedures
ย ย ย ย To operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
ย ย ย ย To place stock and special orders for productย 
ย ย ย ย To maintain safety standards of the department
ย ย ย ย To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
ย ย ย ย To be dependable for all scheduled shifts
ย ย ย ย To ensure outstanding courteous customer service is provided at all times
ย ย ย ย To be familiar with and adhere to the Discovery Co-op Policies and Procedures
ย ย ย ย To live the Co-op brand everyday
ย ย ย ย To perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:ย 
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

ย ย ย ย Must be at least 18 years of age
ย ย ย ย Basic math and reading skills
ย ย ย ย Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license
ย ย ย ย Knowledge of lumber and products associated with construction would be an asset
ย ย ย ย You must be available for days, evenings and weekends
ย ย ย ย You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
ย ย ย ย You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. ย  ย
