Job Description:
Vindara is looking for an enthusiastic business leader to add to our growing team. This individual will help bring Vindara forward in seed sales and continue to maintain relationships with our current growers and establish new ones. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation in developing new marketing strategies for seed sales. They will play a key role in marketing Vindara seeds to our current customers and the commercial market.
Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and maintains key relationships with customers, growers and partners to promote and coordinate profitable sale of Vindara's seeds
  • Records and maintains through CRM (Contact relationship management) in internal database
  • Checks in periodically with customers to ensure product needs are being satisfied
  • Develops and implements digital marketing strategies for Vindara sales (website/social media)
  • Develops creative marketing descriptions for newly developed Vindara seed varieties
  • Responsible for developing pricing strategies for seeds
  • Records and analyzes customer sales related data and reports back to President
  • Stays up to date with the latest news and affairs in the vertical indoor farming space
  • Performs other related duties and/or special projects as required

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Agronomy/Agriculture related field preferred
  • Previous working experience in agriculture or related field is a plus
  • Has previous experience developing and executing plans in order to maximize sales
  • Experience/knowledge in a variety of marketing strategies for company sale growth
  • Willingness to learn if the individual has no prior experience in agriculture
  • Approximately 25% of travel
