We're hiring a Project Manager - Strategy and Development at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
Seeking a strategic, organized project manager with robust problem-solving skills for a fast-paced environment. Key duties involve communicating with officials, tracking deadlines, maintaining confidentiality, and driving cross-functional collaboration, often requiring influence without authority. The role demands exceptional communication, representing leadership externally, and financial acumen. Government experience and political process knowledge are highly desirable.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with public officials in writing and verbally.
  • Track deadlines on multiple projects and hold others accountable to deliver on expectations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
  • Desire to thrive in a high-paced environment. The individual must be organized and able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to speak on behalf of leadership.Knowledge and understanding of the political process is preferred.
  • Experience in a government setting is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing and motivating teams with no direct authority over them.
