POSITION SUMMARY:
This position has accountability for the management of a store, with the attainment of financial, customer service, safety and sanitation standards as key objectives. These are obtained through modeling the Core Values of the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Accountable for the operating plan of a single, complex unit.
  • Maintains effective training programs for employees and managers ensuring that they have the skills and competencies needed to fulfill their role requirements.

  • Hires and onboards talent adequate to meet staffing needs and brand standards
  • Accountable for the progressive discipline of managers and employees within the business unit - holding to company practices and policies.

  • Establishes goals and priorities for the store, which are aligned with the goals and objectives of the Company.
  • Continuously looks for ways to achieve, maintain and improve SQCST: great service to customers, food handling that ensures a safe and quality product, a clean and safeenvironment, and training to support individuals to achieve their maximum potential.
  • Identify areas of opportunity using data and develops clearly defined action plans
  • Knows and implements actions to achieve productivity goals, customer satisfaction, food cost and quality, and safety/sanitation guidelines.
  • Ensures proper new-hire training procedures are followed and maintains cross-training programs; Coaches and develops Assistant Managers & Working Supervisors
  • Ensures proper channels and processes are followed for performance issues; motivates and counsels employees to support them in achieving their fullest potential.
  • Makes good decisions to the fullest extent of his or her responsibility in running the store. Works collaboratively with people from all levels and departments within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:Scheduling:
  • Available for work on any day of the week or shift; typically, this position enjoys a five-day work week with regular days off
  • Available for work at any store in the chain if transferred to a new store; must have reliable transportation

Physical Ability:
  • Able to lift 10 pounds frequently; occasionally lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Wrist and hand motions; standing and/or walking up to 9 hours; reaching, bending, and squatting frequently; pushing and pulling frequently

Mental Ability:
  • Time management skills with strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner
  • Strong customer service skills required

Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Must pass drug screening test
  • Must pass pre-employment physical
  • Must also have passed a TB test within 2 years of start date with skin test

Environmental Conditions:
  • Able to work in temperatures ranging from 0 degrees to 95 degrees
  • Around equipment that generates smoke as a by-product of cooking food

Education:
  • College degree preferred
  • High school education or G.E.D. required

Experience:
  • Food service or managerial experience preferred
