Located in our Peoria, IL facility and reporting to the Operations Manager, our Controls Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects for ECSI. This includes quality installations and services, developing customer relationships, and completing projects timely, on budget, and per design. The Project Manager will receive support from the General Manager, Sales and other office personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Bid Review with sales.
  • Project Awarded/Secured
  • Review contract and/or PO.
  • Schedule sales to installation turnover meeting. Review project scope, risk log, special conditions, estimates, specifications and mechanical drawings.
  • Create project schedules and align with customerโ€™s timeline.
  • Project Execution
  • Manage materials and resources to complete projects timely and on budget.
  • Coordinate project tasks with contractors, sub-contractors and fellow employees.
  • Attend job or customer meetings as required.
  • Develop and submit RFIs.
  • Work with sales on change orders.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are being followed.
  • Ensure start-up/commissioning forms are completed for all projects.
  • Manage project punch lists.
  • Coordinate and document all customer training.
  • Monthly progress billings

Physical Demands

Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other plumbing equipment. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical demand requirements are at levels of those of medium work.

This job operates primarily alone and travels to different work sites each day. May work in tight spaces, typically indoors, but may work outside in poor weather conditions. Vehicles are used as the base of operations.
