Caterpillar Inc. seeks Senior Digital Project Manager at its facility located at 501 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61629.
Work on multiple projects using scrum framework. Assist product owners with product backlog. Teach scrum practices and principles. Lead up to 3 technical teams. Lead multiple, simultaneous projects across cross-functional teams. Act as agile facilitator and ensure project teams adhere to scrum values, practices and rules, ensure the effective and efficient application of scrum and help teams stay focused and follow agreed upon rules. Assist a diverse team of onshore and offshore resources to complete projects on-time and within budget. Ensure that Scrum artifacts are kept visible. Facilitate two to four projects simultaneously utilizing Agile methodology. Serve as the principal communicator with internal stakeholders regarding project status. Help teams maintain Scrum tools. Assist teams in writing user stories and a suitable definition based on deliverables and expectations. Handle cross-functional collaboration and promote transparency across multiple feature teams, with product owners, and leadership team. Work with product owners to define and prioritize features and defects. Mediate conflict of goals between the development team (high technical quality) and product owners (more features). Serve as a contact person for teams and their stakeholders regarding Agile. Encourage the use of agile engineering practices within the development team. Help teams build quality into the software and deliveries. Engage with other Scrum Masters. Understand salesforce tools, updates and workflows. Act as release and deployment coordinator. Act as a liaison between development and deployment teams in salesforce environments (sandbox, staging, production). Understand salesforce's data and security model to guide development and planning. Act as change management facilitator to help the organization adapt to changes brought by salesforce implementations. Lead as continuous improvement advocate and implement retrospectives focused on salesforce project challenges. Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel required.
REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Scrum and Agile; (2) Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); (3) Project Management Fundamentals; and (4) Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar).
Summary Pay Range:
$116,251.00 - $169, 060.00
