POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Development Manager is a senior client-facing role based in our Los Angeles office, within I-Grace’s Project Development Team, reporting to the Senior Vice President, and responsible for cultivating new project opportunities and sustaining relationships with owners, architects, and designers across the full lifecycle of a project.
This individual plays a pivotal role in developing tailored proposals, defining scopes of work, and coordinating I-Grace resources to deliver solutions aligned with each client’s vision and priorities. Serving as the primary point of contact for new project relationships through handoff to project teams, the Project Development Manager embodies the I-Grace standard of excellence, professionalism, and service.
The ideal candidate will bring an established familiarity with the Los Angeles / Southern California luxury residential market and its architecture and design community. An active presence within this network is a significant advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, architects, and designers on new projects through handoff to project teams
  • Drive prospective projects forward by sourcing solutions and maintaining forward momentum with relevant stakeholders
  • Attend networking, business development meetings, and events representing I-Grace
  • Manage intake and development of new project opportunities and inquiries
  • Keep detailed notes and create reports on existing relationships and active prospects
PROPOSALS & PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
  • Develop proposals and solutions to client problems, coordinating I-Grace resources for implementation
  • Create proposals and materials in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including written copy, relevant portfolio, graphics, and drawings using InDesign, Creative Cloud, Bluebeam, and Excel
  • Define and develop scopes of work and potential corresponding phases of work
  • Document and organize prospective project information including drawings, photographs, written reports, and scopes of work
  • Organize and submit prospect approval forms
INTERNAL COLLABORATION & REPORTING
  • Support all I-Grace teams in developing client touchpoints, gifting, seasonal outreaches, and engagement initiatives
  • Learn and deploy I-Grace’s portfolio and stay current on the scope of active projects and relationships
  • Prepare for and participate in internal Business Development meetings, keeping the team informed of relevant initiatives, developments, leads, and market insights
BRAND & DIGITAL PRESENCE
  • Coordinate, organize, execute, and attend events showcasing I-Grace
  • Organize, edit, and update I-Grace digital collateral and digital portfolio
  • Manage and update the contact database

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in architecture, interior design, project management, or high-end residential private property management
  • B.Arch, M.Arch, BA/ BS in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent construction experience
  • Experience working on high-end residential projects and/or within luxury brands
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawing sets
  • Knowledge of technical architectural components, formal architectural styles, and corresponding phases of the design process
  • Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Polished, client-facing presentation and professional demeanor
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; required for client-facing travel throughout the Los Angeles area
  • Ability to travel as needed

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
