Program Director, Project & Development Services
Job Description Summary
The Program Director provides overall leadership, governance, and strategic oversight for an Aerospace and Defense Company out of Reston, VA's corporate real estate project portfolio. This individual serves as the primary escalation point for critical issues, drives portfolio performance, ensures alignment with business objectives, and provides executive-level reporting, dashboarding and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a multi-market portfolio of capital projects and workplace initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, reporting standards, and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary executive liaison between Client's leadership and project teams.
  • Drive portfolio-wide resource planning, prioritization, and workload management.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate strategic risks and issues.
  • Provide executive reporting on portfolio health, budget performance, schedule status, and delivery metrics.
  • Support acquisition integration, portfolio optimization, and workplace strategy initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of project controls, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee adoption and utilization of Procore as the system of record.
  • Mentor and develop project management staff.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of program and project management experience.
  • Experience managing large corporate real estate portfolios.
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 182,750.00 - $215,000.00
