Description:

We are seeking a results-oriented Enterprise Business Development Manager to drive data center customer acquisition for our electronics recycling and ITAD operations. This role is focused on securing hyperscale, colocation, cloud, and enterprise data center accounts to support secure asset disposition and circular economy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Data Center Client Identification & Acquisition
• Identify and target data center operators, hyperscalers, colocation providers, cloud service providers, and enterprise data center portfolios as primary customer segments.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of new data center clients through strategic outreach, referrals, industry networking, and targeted campaigns.
• Engage decision-makers across facilities, infrastructure, IT, sustainability, procurement, and security teams, tailoring messaging to technical, operational, and compliance-driven audiences.

Strategic Account & Relationship Management
• Develop long-term partnerships with data center clients to support ongoing refresh cycles, decommissioning projects, relocations, and lifecycle asset management.
• Initiate and support relationships with IT leasing and financing partners associated with data center clients to facilitate end-of-lease asset disposition, refresh cycles, and secure ITAD services, while coordinating with internal teams for program execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise data center accounts, ensuring trust, responsiveness, and alignment with security, compliance, and sustainability requirements.
• Expand relationships within existing accounts by identifying opportunities across additional sites, regions, and service lines.

Market Development & Data Center Strategy
• Monitor trends in data center growth, refresh cycles, ESG reporting, compliance standards, and ITAD best practices.
• Develop and execute business development strategies focused on national and multi-site data center portfolios, maximizing recurring material flow.
• Represent the company at data center, cloud, and infrastructure industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Operational & Technical Collaboration
• Partner closely with operations, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure secure chain of custody, data destruction standards, and seamless execution for data center clients.
• Translate customer requirements into operational plans, including on-site services, transportation logistics, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Maintain proactive communication to ensure service expectations and SLAs are consistently met.

Sales Execution, Proposals & Reporting
• Develop and present data center-specific proposals, contracts, and service agreements aligned with client security, compliance, and sustainability goals.
• Track pipeline activity, client engagement, and account performance using CRM tools.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on data center acquisition progress, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales or business development, with demonstrated success in data centers, cloud infrastructure, colocation, ITAD, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of data center environments, including refresh cycles, decommissioning, security expectations, and compliance considerations.
• Proven ability to engage and influence technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets in complex, multi-site or national accounts.
• Experience using CRM systems and navigating enterprise procurement processes.
• Knowledge of ITAD, electronics recycling, sustainability, ESG reporting, or circular economy models is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel nationally for client meetings and industry events.
