Civil EngineerAbout the Opportunity

We're working with a growing civil engineering firm in the Baltimore area that's looking to add a Civil Engineer to their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of public-sector projects, including site development, water resources, infrastructure improvements, school expansions, and recreational facilities. The position provides exposure to the full project lifecycle, from design and permitting through construction support, while working across multiple local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop site civil designs utilizing Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related engineering software.
  • Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater management plans for a variety of projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support project design.
  • Assist in preparing construction documents, specifications, and detailed plan sets.
  • Conduct research and compile technical reports, findings, and recommendations.
  • Support the preparation of engineering opinions of probable cost and construction estimates.
  • Participate in site visits, field observations, inspections, and data collection efforts.

Required Qualifications
