Job description

TSC is currently seeking a Integrated Product Team Lead/Project Engineer in Huntsville, AL , with an educational and/or industry focus in leading multi-disciplinary technical teams in the development and production of RF sensors in precision weapons or electronic warfare domains. Responsibilities: This position requires technical and programmatic expertise in managing RF-based technologies such as proximity, height-of-burst (HOB), unmanned RF payloads, or seeker sensors spanning both development and manufacturing for missile, rocket, Electronic Warfare (EW), and/or gun-launched munition platforms. This position requires an individual familiar with all phases of product development and deployment to include changing requirements, hardware, software, and mechanical integration dependencies, field testing, and configuration management. The individual in this position work closely with the customer, program manager, and technical team to deliver a solution to meet the customer's mission and be manufacturable as a product. * Oversee the design, development, test, and production transition of RF sensor products.
* Analyzes system requirements, current products and technologies, and industry solutions to architect solutions.
* Collaborates closely with Program Management to scope and schedule work, manage technical risks, and provide overall technical leadership to the team.
* Technical engagements with the customer to solve the mission challenges, to evaluate technical feasibility, and to understand technical risks.
* Daily collaboration with technical team to refine design, make trade-off decisions, resolve technical differences, mentor junior team members, support test and debug, and be available to support the team.
* Works with Product Management to develop and maintain the technical aspects of the product roadmap.
* Works with the Production team to develop production level requirements to ensure manufacturability and sustainability.
* Supports the Engineering Management team by executing and improving best practices processes.
* Support all phases of detailed system and subsystem development activities for embedded applications, including upfront analysis, prototyping, end item development and evaluation in laboratory and field test environments.
* Work within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.
* Analysis of measured data from laboratory and/or field testing. Comparison of expected performance or truth data to actual measured performance.
* Lead by example to enforce systems engineering process and methodologies. Required Qualifications: * Minimum BS in an engineering discipline (i.e. electrical, mechanical, software, etc.) or applied science (i.e. physics, mathematics)
* Minimum 16 years of experience in industry
* Experience with the following areas is required:
* Project or IPT lead on one or more project.
* Completing the product development lifecycle on more than one project/product.
* Radar and/or electronic warfare product development
* Demonstrated technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
* Possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
* Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Clearance.
* U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in signal processing algorithms design and analysis
* Experience managing a program (i.e. budget, resources, schedule, CDRLs, etc.)
* Experience in data analysis with scripting language tools (i.e. Matlab, Python, MathCAD, etc.)
* Experience developing requirements from undefined customer needs
