Description
Ci is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Designer to join our Boston office full-time. This role works closely with Principals, Project Managers, and design teams to support the development and execution of commercial architectural projects from concept through construction. The Project Designer will be involved in design development, production of construction documents, and coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. This position requires strong design and technical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and a solid understanding of building systems and materials. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and able to effectively communicate ideas while adapting to evolving project needs. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects and play a key role in shaping thoughtful and innovative design solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Prepare and develop technical design solutions for commercial projects.
  •  Analyze and propose design solutions to meet client needs and project goals.
  •  Coordinate with project teams, clients, and consultants throughout all project phases.
  •  Assist with the development of project specifications and documentation.
  •  Contribute to tasks that require innovative techniques and problem-solving approaches.

  • Preferred 5+ years of professional architectural experience.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
  • Strong design and presentation skills; capable of engaging with clients and consultants
  • Proficient in architectural design, material and systems detailing, and envelope systems design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to self-direct and work well under deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
