Position Title: Project Coordinator
Looking for an opportunity to grow your construction career with a company that invests in its people? We're partnering with a growing commercial construction company seeking a Project Coordinator to support high-profile flooring projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where your organizational skills and attention to detail will have a direct impact on project success.
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the execution of construction projects, particularly in the flooring sector. This position involves collaborating with Project Managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The coordinator will manage documentation, track schedules, and communicate with various stakeholders, contributing to the overall efficiency of project operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000+ / Year DOE
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Managers with multiple commercial flooring projects
  • Prepare, submit, and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation
  • Prepare subcontract agreements, work orders, and purchase orders
  • Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and collect required insurance and compliance documents
  • Track project schedules, material deliveries, and installation timelines
  • Communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
  • Assist with project billing by gathering documentation for invoices and pay applications
  • Monitor project budgets, subcontract values, and committed costs
  • Maintain organized project files in the project management and accounting systems
  • Coordinate material orders and confirm delivery schedules
  • Assist with project closeout by collecting warranties, lien waivers, and final documentation

Project Coordinator Requirements:
  • 2+ years of construction project coordination or administrative experience
  • Familiarity with contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders
  • Experience with submittals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required
  • Experience in the construction industry is required
  • High school diploma is required
  • Flooring experience is preferred
  • Commercial construction experience is preferred
