Project Coordinator – Hunt Valley Office
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the execution and daily operations of our solar projects. This role works closely with Project Managers to ensure all phases of a project are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with company standards. The ideal candidate brings a background in construction or a related field and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in planning and executing project action plans related to scheduling, budgeting, and field operations.
  • Monitor and manage team goals, project timelines, and documentation.
  • Participate in design, status, and budget meetings.
  • Coordinate permits, utility approvals, incentive applications, and closeout documentation.
  • Maintain both digital and physical project records.
  • Draft and manage change orders, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
  • Schedule and procure project-related materials and equipment deliveries.
  • Prepare and review project communications such as proposals, meeting notes, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients to define project scope, requirements, and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or a 4-year degree in a related field.
  • Proficient with project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, POs, and invoices.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with project management software and document control systems.
  • Team leadership experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the commercial solar industry is a strong advantage.
