This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will partner closely with recruiters, hiring teams, and peers to deliver an outstanding interview experience for all candidates. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the candidate recruiting cycle.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
This is a 6-month fixed-term position, with full eligibility for Blue Origin benefits. This role is full time on site, and relocation is not provided.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting Coordinators at Blue Origin play a key role in each candidate's journey. We strive to deliver a stellar candidate experience in partnership with Recruiters and Hiring Managers for all operational steps of the recruiting process including:
  • Coordinate interview logistics
  • Assist candidates in booking interview travel
  • Greet candidates on the day of their interview and help guide them through their interview day
  • Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates
  • Accurately track recruiting activities in Workday
  • Coordinate and schedule post-interview debrief meetings and provide debrief materials to hiring teams
  • Assist in recruiting projects and activities as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Experience with scheduling or calendar management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the composure to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
  • Superb customer service focus, attention to detail, and organization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong software skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly change in daily responsibilities with positivity and maturity
  • Proven success earning trust and maintaining positive professional relationships

Desired:
  • Prior experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Project Coordinator is strongly desired.
  • Curiosity, the motivation to recommend and implement positive changes to processes and policies, and confidence when learning new software applications are characteristics that we value!

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
