When you join Fusion, you become part of a collaborative, mission‑focused organization that values technical excellence and a steadfast commitment to national security. Clearance Requirement
Active Secret security clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain any additional customer-required clearances or access authorizations. Position Summary
The Senior Project Controls Coordinator provides professional scheduling, planning, and project controls support for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. This role manages project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through close-out, and serves as the primary scheduling liaison among project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, government representatives, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong project scheduling expertise, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to support complex projects within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities

Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of certifications. Technical Skills • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent, plus Microsoft Office Suite.  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, permitting, procurement lead times, subcontractor integration, and project controls principles. • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules, analyze critical path activities, and integrate schedule logic with cost, procurement, and risk considerations. Soft Skills & Competencies • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present schedule information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with customers, subcontractors, project teams, and leadership at all organizational levels in a client-facing environment.  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgement, and integrity when handling sensitive or mission-critical information.  Physical Requirements & Work Environment • Mixed office and active construction-site environment; this position is 100% onsite. • Ability to conduct walk-downs, attend onsite meetings, and navigate active construction environments safely. • Must complete all required construction site, customer, and safety training. • Required use of PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, protective footwear, and eye/ear protection, during site visits. • Work may require extended hours, nights or weekends based on project schedules, outages, or mission requirements.  Why Work for Fusion?
