The Project Controls Manager holds comprehensive operational, financial, and contract management responsibilities throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role leads overall financial reporting, forecasting, and change management while serving as the primary authority on contract administration and risk management.

The major duties of the Project Controls Manager are:

      • Financial & Commercial Oversight: Manage total project financials - including budgeting, monthly/quarterly forecasting, cash flow, billings, labor/equipment cost monitoring, and processing payments for both clients and subcontractors.
      • Change Management & Dispute Resolution: Lead the full change management lifecycle (tracking, pricing, negotiating, and reporting change events) while managing risk, resolving disputes, and advising the team on commercial matters.
      • Stakeholder & Operational Liaison: Build strong relationships across internal home office departments, field operations, and external project stakeholders, while directing formal projcet close-out.
      • Administration & Controls: Oversee core project controls and administration, including scheduling, document control, quantity reporting, record keeping, and full adherence to company policies and procedures.
      • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict compliance and accurate reporting for state prevailing wage laws, as well as D/M/WBE outreach and diversity program requirements.ย 

Project Controls Manager Required Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of heavy construction experience including client coordination, finance, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and construction/engineering resolution
      • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction, Business, or Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
