What You'll Do


As a Project Controls Technician, you'll partner closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Leadership teams to provide accurate project tracking, reporting, and analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project to reflect project requirements, milestones, and progress.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings to establish a clear understanding of project scope, budget, schedule, reporting, and change management processes.
  • Support Project Managers with project budget management, forecasting, and ERP updates related to approved customer changes.
  • Track project labor, material costs, and overall project performance against budgets.
  • Gather and coordinate project information from cross-functional teams to create accurate and timely project status reports.
  • Monitor project progress and performance using analytical tools and reporting techniques.
  • Assist with cost reporting, project invoicing coordination, and financial tracking activities.
  • Develop and maintain key project performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Partner with Finance and Project Management teams to ensure accurate cost and schedule reporting.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of project controls policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean initiatives, and process enhancement opportunities.
  • Provide additional project support and analysis as needed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project planning, project controls, scheduling, cost control, or project management
