Senior Project Control Analyst Full Time Washington, DC Job Description: A Senior Project Control Analyst is part of the Project Management Team and assists the Program Manager to ensure the project stays within budget and is completed on time. As a Senior Project Control Analyst, accurate records of expenditures and timelines must be kept, regulatory compliance of each phase must be tracked, and any market changes that may affect the project must be monitored. The Junior Project Control Analyst assists in compiling this data and processes reports for management to determine whether changes should be made to the project.

* Generate regular reports on project performance, trends, and forecasts, utilizing data to provide insights and recommendations. * Supports and consults with project managers and deployment managers on project issues, status and tracking requirements * Helps identify ways to reduce costs while improving control measures * Analyze and interpret complex financial data, understand project financial fundamentals, and perform scenario analysis. * Implement reporting procedures to review project status and valuation of work in progress, tracking procedures for contract deliverables * Gather all necessary documentation, such as timesheets, expense reports, and progress reports, to prepare accurate invoices for the client; Generate and submit client invoices according to the project's billing schedule.

Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing or other related field. An additional two years of relevant experience can be substituted for the degree. * 7+ years cradle to grave project controls and analysis including project billing/charging setup, baseline vs actual analysis, and variance analysis * Implements project plans under the direction of others in the project * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency in project accounting software such as Unanet a plus.

* Strong financial knowledge and experience managing government contracts, cost controls, and project budgets * Proficient with MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, index match, conditional formatting, filter, etc * Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff, with a thorough understanding of industry-standard project controls practices About Semper Valens Solutions: Semper Valens Solutions, Inc.
