Role Overview 

We are seeking a Site QCx Manager to lead quality control and commissioning efforts on a large-scale, mission-critical data center project in Sparks, NV.


This role sits at the intersection of QA/QC, commissioning, and field execution, ensuring that all electrical and mechanical systems are installed, tested, and turned over in accordance with project specifications and client expectations. You will work directly with project leadership, field teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to drive first-time quality, system readiness, and successful commissioning outcomes across a fast-paced hyperscale environment.


Responsibilities 

  • Oversee and implement the project-specific QA/QC program across all trades, with a strong focus on electrical and MEP systems 
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client quality standards 
  • Manage inspections, audits, and verification processes throughout construction 
  • Track and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs), deficiencies, and punch list items 
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality expectations and installation standards 
  • Lead and coordinate commissioning activities (L1-L5) across all critical systems 
  • Partner with commissioning agents, engineers, and vendors to ensure system readiness 
  • Oversee pre-functional and functional testing, including point-to-point checks, loop checks, and integrated systems testing (IST) 
  • Ensure proper documentation and execution of commissioning plans, scripts, and procedures 
  • Support system turnover, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all commissioning deliverables 
  • Work closely with superintendents, project engineers, and construction teams to align installation with commissioning readiness 
  • Drive schedule adherence related to QA/QC and commissioning milestones 
  • Participate in daily coordination meetings, high-risk activity planning, and system readiness reviews 
  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks that could impact quality or commissioning timelines 
  • Oversee QA/QC and commissioning documentation, including test reports, checklists, and turnover packages 
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of system status, progress, and deficiencies 
  • Maintain clear communication with client stakeholders on quality and commissioning progress 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in QA/QC, commissioning, or MEP construction 
  • Strong background in mission-critical projects (data centers, semiconductor, or similar) 
  • Deep understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems (MV/LV power, switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC, etc.) 
  • Proven experience leading commissioning efforts (L1-L5) on large-scale projects 
  • Experience managing QA/QC processes including inspections, NCRs, and turnover documentation 
  • Familiarity with commissioning tools, documentation systems, and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
