Job description

TITLE: Sr. Project Manager

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)

ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 06/15/2026 to 12/31/2026


Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale enterprise business/technical enablement projects.
  • Direct the overall work efforts of a project team.
  • Provide oversight to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule goals and objectives for complex large-sized initiatives.
  • Manage programs/projects from initial concept through post-implementation, including multiple implementation cycles.
  • Develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
  • Provide highly credible leadership to teams and evaluate complex project risks and issues.
  • Drive execution and progress on key workstreams with executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Plan and control multiple related projects with complex dependencies and shared resources.
  • Develop strong working relationships with business partners, subject matter experts, support functions, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist in team development and hold teams accountable for their commitments.
  • Ensure project governance is established and observed.
  • Construct program reporting and tracking frameworks.
  • Escalate issues and risks to appropriate level.
  • Recognize, clarify, and prioritize project plan activities.
  • Communicate effectively with program/project stakeholders, including executive leadership.


Requirements:

  • 10 plus years of project/program management experience.
  • Experience managing project activities for complex, high profile projects crossing several business lines.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and engage with different levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools, MS Office, Jira, Confluence, Document management.
  • PMP or CPM certification.
  • Experience in project control, reporting, planning, and organization.
  • Formal project management methodology knowledge.


Preferred Experience:

  • Preferred M&A integration or conversion experience.
  • Previous banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Extensive experience in project control and reporting, project planning, and Agile framework.
  • Experience managing complex, high-profile projects crossing multiple lines of business.
  • Strong time management and personal organization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within virtual teams.


The hourly pay rate range for this position is $45.00 to $51.72 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
