THE ROLE:

The Project Planning & Cost Control Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of portfolio management of multiple site projects. This role is responsible for end-to-end project planning, schedule control, cost tracking, and progress reporting, partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Brands, and R&D to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full, and within approved budgets.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Project Planning & Schedule Control

  • Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules using tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar planning software
  • Ensure project execution plans across all North America sites are aligned and progressing as planned
  • Track all project activities to ensure milestones and critical paths are achieved
  • Identify and maintain a project risk register; proactively assess schedule/cost risks and implement mitigation strategies across all projects
  • Coordinate the project timeline with Strategic Planning team, Factory team ,Engineering team and Supply planning team.
  • Manage Management of Change across all construction sites.
  • Manage any change in scope and cost control.

Cost Control & CapEx Management

  • Track project costs against approved CapEx budgets and quarterly phasing
  • Ensure POs are placed on time and aligned with project schedules
  • Monitor commitments, actuals, and forecasts to maintain cost discipline
  • Report any deviations from approved cost or phasing plans in a timely manner.
  • Lead Early Equipment Management pillar for Transformation projects.
  • Lead Value Engineering Workshops and track record of activities.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Prepare and lead weekly and monthly project progress reports
  • Develop and present SCurves and other project performance indicators
  • Provide clear visibility on schedule, cost, risks, and mitigations to leadership
  • Track and report site safety performance and HSE records related to projects

CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Brands, and R&D to ensure execution strategies align with sales plans, product launches, and business priorities
  • Support integrated decision-making across functions to protect timelines and outcomes

Site Engagement & Governance

  • Travel to North America manufacturing sites to review progress, validate reporting, and support project governance
  • Act as a key point of contact for project controls, ensuring consistency and rigor across sites

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)
  • 8+ years of experience in large-scale capital project execution
  • Proven experience in:
    • Experience working in live manufacturing sites and navigating operational constraints during project execution
    • Project planning and schedule control for Large Scale Capital Project.
    • CapEx and cost management
    • Timeline monitoring and reporting
    • Construction and site execution environments

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with advance project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding and experience of construction, installation, and commissioning activities for Packaging Lines, Utilities, Mix plant and Building.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple projects
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-site environments

Leadership:

  • Ability to lead and influence up and down the organization
  • Strong ownership of project outcomes
  • Able to navigate through unexpected challenges and drive execution

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to$154,400.The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC)takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
