Progesys est a la recherche d'un(e) Directeur(ice) Controle de Projets pour travailler sur different projets.

Responsabilites principales

Le / la controleur(euse) de projets est responsable de la mise en place des outils, systemes et processus de travail pour gerer efficacement le controle et rapports de couts, echeanciers et avancement du projet. Il est egalement responsable de diriger, coordonner, evaluer et supporter une equipe de specialistes en controle de projets.

  • Elaborer et mettre en uvre un plan de controle de projets dans le cadre du plan d'execution du projet (PEP)
  • Developper les couts, les echeanciers et l'estimee de base
  • Diriger, coordonner, evaluer et supporter une equipe de specialistes de controle de projets
  • Analyser les ecarts dans les couts et les echeanciers par rapport au plan et communiquer les raisons pour les ecarts et les plans d'attenuation proposes a la gestion du projet
  • Superviser la definition et mise en place des WBS
  • Effectuer la planification, le controle de couts, la mesure de l'avancement et la collecte des donnees de performance telles que les quantites installees et les donnees de mesure de l'avancement
  • Gerer et suivre tous les changements et changements potentiels, en veillant a s'assurer que les estimations des couts et les changements de calendrier soient visibles aupres du client et de la gestion du projet
  • Analyser les risques du projet
  • Contribuer a la performance de l'equipe tout en combinant competences techniques, leadership, travail d'equipe et competences de gestion des personnes.

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalaureat en ingenierie
  • Detenir un minimum de 7 ans d'experience en tant que controleur de projets
  • Detenir un minimum de 12-15 annees d'experience totale
  • Doit avoir ete expose a des projets de grande envergure et a de grandes equipes de projet
  • Bilingue: anglais et francais (Le bilinguisme est requis pour cette position puisque l'employe devra communiquer au quotidien avec des parties prenantes (clients et collegues) a l'exterieur du Quebec ne parlant pas le francais)
  • Solide savoir-faire dans les outils de controle de projets et les processus de travail
  • Experience dans toutes les phases de l'ingenierie, de l'approvisionnement et de la construction
  • Connaissance des contrats et de l'administration des contrats
  • Experience en gestion de petites equipes
  • Aptitude averee a travailler avec les equipes de projet pour influencer et atteindre les resultats souhaites
  • Maitrise de MS Office (tableurs, traitement de texte, presentations, graphiques) et du projet

Progesys is looking for a Project Control Director to work on different projects.

Main Responsibilities

The Project Control Director is responsible for the implementation of the tools, systems and work processes to effectively manage the control and reporting of costs, timelines and project progress. He is also responsible for leading, coordinating, evaluating and supporting a team of project control specialists.

  • Develop and implement a project control plan as part of the project implementation plan (PEP)
  • Develop costs, schedules and baseline estimate
  • Lead, coordinate, evaluate and support a team of project control specialists
  • Analyze variances in costs and timelines against the plan and communicate reasons for variances and proposed mitigation plans to project management
  • Supervise the definition and implementation of WBS
  • Perform planning, cost control, progress measurement and collection of performance data such as installed quantities and progress measurement data
  • Manage and track all changes and potential changes, ensuring that cost estimates and schedule changes are visible to the client and project management
  • Analyze the risks of the project
  • Contribute to team performance while combining technical skills, leadership, teamwork and people management skills.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience as Project Control Manager
  • Have a minimum of 12-15 years of total experience
  • Must have been exposed to large-scale projects and large project teams
  • Bilingual: English, French (Bilingualism is required for this position, as the employee will be communicating on a daily basis with stakeholders (customers and colleagues) outside Quebec who do not speak French)
  • Experience with project control (cost, planning and estimation)
  • Strong know-how in project control tools and work processes
  • Experience in all phases of engineering, procurement and construction
  • Knowledge of contracts and contract administration
  • Experience managing small teams
  • Proven ability to work with project teams to influence and achieve desired results
  • Proficient in MS Office (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, graphics) and the project
