About our Redmond, Oregon operation:

ACC has been working in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service/U.S.F.S to maintain their Sherpa aircraft at the RDM airport base in Oregon. As an A&P Mechanic-Entry Level, you will be able to apply your A&P License, education and training, and any aviation maintenance related work experience to a team dedicated to maintenance of the aircraft that keep the U.S. Forest Service firefighters safe and secure for their missions.

This position is located in the mountains of Oregon, an outdoor lovers’ paradise with commuting options, including the popular skiing area of Bend. Picturesque views surround a well maintained and equipped hangar.

Some relocation assistance may be provided for this position.

SHIFT


1st Shift, 5 Day Work Week – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Some weekend/overtime work will be required, as directed by the U.S.F.S.

Travel: Some travel may be involved to other U.S.F.S bases, as directed.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
-Starting Rate of Pay: $30.00 to $35.00/hour

Job Requirements:

-Perform routine schedule maintenance and inspection of aircraft.
-Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals.
-Complete all necessary electronic record keeping.
-Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize aircraft downtime.
-Troubleshoot and conduct electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and powerplant issues.
-Install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand and power tools.
-Be a team player, work together in a group to accomplish projects.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-Candidates must hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

-A valid US Driver’s License is required
-Skilled in all phases of aircraft maintenance
-We need self-starters with the ability to work well with others.
-Pass background check and pre-employment 5 panel drug test
