Instead of traditional lectures, PBL teachers guide students in investigating complex questions or challenges, allowing them to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. These teachers create environments where students take ownership of their learning and demonstrate their understanding through tangible outcomes. Their role is to mentor, provide resources, and assess both the process and the final products of student work.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a project based learning teacher?

To thrive as a Project Based Learning (PBL) Teacher, you need a solid background in instructional design, subject matter expertise, and a teaching credential or education degree. Familiarity with project management tools, digital collaboration platforms, and assessment software is typically required. Creativity, adaptability, and strong facilitation skills set outstanding PBL teachers apart by fostering student-driven inquiry and teamwork. These competencies are vital to effectively guide students through meaningful projects, encourage critical thinking, and achieve learning outcomes in dynamic classroom settings.

How does a project based learning teacher typically collaborate with colleagues and external partners during the course of a project?

As a Project Based Learning Teacher, you will frequently collaborate with fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary projects, share best practices, and coordinate assessment standards. You may also work with community partners, local businesses, or subject matter experts to provide students with real-world context and authentic learning experiences. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as PBL often involves cross-functional planning and ongoing reflection to ensure projects align with both curricular goals and students’ interests.

About the Role:

Join a mission-driven team transforming the future of aortic care. As a Principal Aortic Account Manager at Endologix, you will be at the forefront of aortic therapy innovation. You will drive sales growth, build trusted partnerships with leading vascular surgeons and healthcare institutions, and play a key role in advancing the clinical and commercial strategy for Endologix's aortic portfolio. Combining deep expertise in aortic devices and EVAR procedures with strategic account leadership, this role empowers you to deliver meaningful value to physicians, care teams, and the patients they serve.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Physician & Procedural Support:

  • Partner with physicians and care teams to identify appropriate patients, support case planning, and deliver confident in-procedure support-keeping patient outcomes at the center of every interaction.
  • Arrive early, fully prepared, and clinically sharp for EVAR procedures to ensure seamless case execution, productive pre-case discussions, and a consistently positive experience for clinicians and patients.
  • Demonstrate strong procedural command and control with integrity and professionalism to drive optimal clinical results, reinforce trust, and elevate the overall customer experience.
  • Educate clinicians on Endologix's aortic and peripheral portfolio (e.g., Detour, AAA devices), including indications, contraindications, implant techniques, and procedural best practices-leveraging innovation and evidence-based learning to advance patient care.

Territory Management & Strategic Sales Execution:

  • Develop, manage, and grow trusted relationships with vascular specialists, hospital systems, and key stakeholders by acting transparently, delivering value, and aligning solutions to clinical and economic needs.
  • Lead new product introductions with boldness and strategic insight, navigating hospital processes-including Value Analysis Committees-to drive responsible adoption and long-term success.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and accountability for results.
  • Travel extensively within the territory to support procedures, strengthen customer partnerships, and represent Endologix at clinical meetings, conferences, trade shows, and professional forums.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, gather actionable market intelligence, and proactively share insights with cross-functional partners to strengthen strategy and execution.
  • Clearly articulate healthcare economics and value metrics to demonstrate how Endologix solutions improve patient outcomes while supporting system efficiency and sustainability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Organizational Contribution:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Training, Medical Education, Finance, and other internal partners to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions for customers.
  • Take ownership of projects beyond core sales responsibilities, demonstrating initiative and accountability in support of broader organizational priorities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Clinical Specialists and Regional Sales Managers to align on territory strategy, workload distribution, and shared goals.
  • Contribute innovative ideas, process improvements, and best practices that enhance team performance and advance the organization.

Clinical Knowledge & Continuous Learning:

  • Commit to continuous learning by participating in advanced education related to EVAR, aortic disease management, and Endologix clinical data.
  • Stay current on tools, clinical studies, guidelines, and competitive developments-remaining curious, adaptable, and informed in a rapidly evolving therapy landscape.

Administrative Excellence:

  • Execute all administrative responsibilities accurately and efficiently, including forecasting, business planning, Salesforce administration, inventory management, training and dinner program requests, required trainings, and expense reporting.
  • Ensure all cases and scheduled procedures are entered into Salesforce by close of business daily, reflecting integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Maintain timely, professional email communication and responsive follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance & Professional Standards:

  • Conduct all activities in strict alignment with Endologix regulatory, quality, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all customer and patient interactions, reinforcing trust and credibility.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor in support of team success, organizational goals, and exceptional patient outcomes.
