Your Role:
CEG Solutions is a rapidly growing company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a small firm. As an early career Associate you will be immersed into a structured entry-level training program designed to give you broad exposure across our innovative energy efficiency consulting projects.
You will support energy infrastructure upgrades for diverse clients, including federal government agencies, seeing projects through from initial development, design, and implementation to performance. This unique exposure will allow you to explore various functions, from project management and engineering design to business development. We are looking for a driven individual who possesses strong technical abilities, communication skills, and a deep interest in sustainable energy.
You will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge renewable energy technologies, such as geothermal, air source heat pumps, and solar PV. Crucially, you will experience the tangible impact of our work, contributing to significant environmental improvements by developing energy conservation measures and seeing projects through to the end of construction. You will be closely mentored by our senior engineers as you build your career in Energy Engineering.
Responsibilities
Project Engineering and Coordination
  • Identify innovative energy infrastructure upgrades through site audits, data analysis, and engineered drawing reviews.
  • Determine cost-effectiveness of identified energy efficiency measures through rigorous savings calculations and evaluation of available financial incentives.
  • Develop concept designs and narratives detailing energy systems upgrades to support scope communication, collaboration, and pricing.
  • Assess energy conservation measurement viability through constructability analysis and coordination with trade contractors.
  • Support internal and external technical communication with team members, clients, third-party consultants, subcontractors, and utility providers.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering/STEM or an environmental field) and US work authorization required; undergraduate GPA > 3.50.
• Demonstrated interest in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with diverse skill sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to provide a written work sample.
