Associate Project Manager, Laboratory Services
Location: Bedford, MA

ROLE SUMMARY:
Quanterix, a company focused on advancing the science of precision health through biomarker analysis, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Project Manager with strong organizational skills to join the Accelerator's Services team. The Associate Project Manager will provide critical coordination of client projects to ensure deliverables not only meet but exceed client expectations. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with Laboratory Services leadership to organize, collect, and prepare information and data for the program and be a primary point of contact to the Accelerator commercial team for client/project logistical needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Participate in customer meetings with Accelerator lab commercial team and project leaders.
  • Support client meetings and teleconference calls
  • Maintain meeting minutes for projects
  • Work with senior project managers and commercial team to determine testing capabilities for incoming projects and create Statements of Work
  • Work with testing operations team to coordinate execution of projects, including ordering of materials, scheduling of tasks and preparing reports
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information and data to assist Accelerator leadership in preparation of performance and quality metrics
  • Perform accurate data entry of patient demographics, test orders, provider information, and insurance details
  • Support daily laboratory operations, including sample tracking, chain of custody, check-in status, troubleshooting discrepancies, and resolution
  • Ensure sample shipments are delivered on time to the lab and facilitate transfer of specimens when required
  • Communicate with healthcare providers and internal departments to resolve missing or incomplete information
  • Track and resolve customer issues, including rejected specimens, missing information, or data discrepancies, documenting outreach and resolutions in the CRM tools
  • Assist clients with order entry issues, cancellations, and data correction
  • Coordinate with internal departments (accessioning, logistics, billing, laboratory operations) to resolve client concerns
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner regarding specimen status, test requirements, and processing timeline
  • Provide accurate information regarding test offerings, sampling requirements, turnaround times and result reporting
  • Maintain data accuracy and alignment between CRM tools and customer-facing interface
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and other data privacy regulations to maintain patient privacy confidentiality and data quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2+ years of experience in life science or laboratory or hospital setting, preferably in a project management role
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Project management experience.
  • Degree in Biochemistry, biology, or related area preferred.
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to rapidly learn new scientific concepts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are in process and must be completed in a timely manner under minimal supervision
  • Thrive in a highly dynamic, team-oriented environment with ability to multi-task and manage fluid priorities
  • Driven to provide superior customer service to internal and external clients
  • Communicate and interact professionally with clients and company staff
