Senior Project Architect
Food amp; Beverage design
Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Architect to bring expertise and leadership to our Food and Beverage large scale facility designs. Join an integrated team of architects, engineers, and project managers and engage in challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry. As a Hixson Associate, your voice will be heard, and you will be looked upon to share your knowledge and grow Hixson into the future. This key role will be relied upon for a broad set of architectural competencies, technical design knowledge, consultation, coaching/mentoring, and problem-solving skills in a company culture that values collaboration.
Position
The Senior Project Architect reports directly to the Manager of Architecture and leads in the development of projects from preliminary design through construction documents as an industry expert specializing in Food and Beverage design. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with clients and provide technical leadership working alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry.
Qualifications
  • BA, Architecture, BSAE or equivalent required
  • Registered Architect in the U.S. required
  • 10+ years of experience; Food amp; Beverage a must
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • Proven success in developing client relationships and leading technical teams
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and commitment to professional growth
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
