We're seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role plays an important part in supporting our day-to-day operations by helping customers, team members, and partners stay informed, organized, and connected.   • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly in a polite, professional manner. Determine the purpose of calls and forward them appropriately while monitoring staff availability
  • Assist customers and other team members
  • Work alongside third-party relationships such as lenders, permit authorities, title agents, and trade partners
  • Answer questions about the organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other general information
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Oversee and assist in ordering clerical supply inventory for the model home and office
  • Handle special administrative projects and overflow work from the department, as needed
  • Take direction from management and demonstrate a desire to grow professionally
  • Welcomes clients and on-site visitors cheerfully and professionally; determines the nature of their visit and announces guests to appropriate personnel
Requirements
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, lenders, and team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years of Office Administrative experience preferred
  • New Home Builder Experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to manage workflow proficiently
