Job description

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships. This leader develops high-performing sales teams, focused on organic growth while partnering cross-functionally to achieve business objectives for ROM and Randall Mfg. Truck and Trailer, a Clarience Technologies Brands.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional sales managers and sales representatives to maximize performance.
  • Establish sales goals, forecasts, territory plans, and key performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Personal involvement with business development and conquest account capture.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead strategic business development initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to drive growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product Management, and Customer Service to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage customer accounts, sales pipeline, forecasting, opportunity tracking, account planning, customer engagement activities, and performance reporting. Ensure CRM data integrity, drive user adoption, and leverage analytics to improve sales effectiveness and forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasting, participate in SIOP process to support improved operational metrics to yield high customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present executive-level business reviews, sales forecasts, and performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7–15+ years of progressive sales experience with 5+ years in sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales organizations and delivering sustained revenue growth.
  • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • OEM account management experience, and capable of driving OEM relationships, initiatives, and product training.
  • Strong Fleet Sales experience, along with regional distribution experience and driving revenue growth
  • Advanced proficiency with the Salesforce CRM platforms.
  • Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics.


Travel

  • Ability to travel up to 75%, including customer visits, industry events, sales meetings, and support of strategic business initiatives across North America and Canada.
